Dishwasher

Racine Country Club is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen while supporting our chefs and service staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, work well as part of a team, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous dishwasher experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen work areas
  • Properly store clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Sweep, mop, and assist with maintaining clean kitchen floors and workspaces
  • Remove trash and recycling and transport materials to designated collection areas
  • Restock kitchen supplies and assist with inventory organization
  • Support cooks and kitchen staff with basic kitchen tasks as needed
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment preferred
  • At least 6 months of dishwasher experience preferred
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and service staff
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Schedule

  • 25 to 30 hours per week
  • Primarily evening shifts
  • Typical schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, approximately 3:00 PM until close

Compensation

  • $15.00 – $17.00 per hour, based on experience
