Racine Country Club is looking for motivated, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our team as Servers, with the opportunity to be cross-trained as a Bartender.  If you have a passion for hospitality and want to expand your skillset, this is the role for you. 

As a Server, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. After you have completed your training and become comfortable in your server role, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset by cross-training as a Bartender.  This will allow you to assist with beverage service and gain experience behind the bar. We believe in developing our team members and offering growth opportunities within the club.

Responsibilities

• Greet each member personally with warm welcome
• Work as a team with all staff in order to maintain a positive atmosphere and exceptional food and beverage service
• Provide service to tables within a station, as determined by management
• Possess full knowledge of the menu of food and beverage offerings; take and deliver food orders at table in a timely manner
• Informing guest of additional options available to them through up-selling
• Anticipate member needs and offer your assistance proactively
• Effectively use POS system to process orders, prepare checks and accept payments
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station and the tables, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked
• Clear and clean tables as needed, assist in setting up event space
• Adhere to the RCC policy regarding guest alcohol service guidelines
• Perform other appropriate assignments as requested management.

• Previous experience working in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
•  Ability to take detailed orders & input/operate point of sale system accurately.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be 18 years or older for alcohol service.
• Willingness to learn and grow in different roles.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food and drinks for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• $10.00 per hour + gratuities
• Once cross-trained as a Bartender, hourly rate increases to $15 per hour
• 401(k) matching

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
